Ayoub Houmanna is a Moroccan musician, guitarist, singer and composer whose work connects Gnawa and Amazigh memory with blues, reggae, jazz, funk and live improvisation.
From Morocco to Poland
Ayoub Houmanna is a Moroccan guitarist and singer. In his January 2022 interview with Polskie Radio, he described growing up in a musical family, first visiting Poland on a student exchange, and returning after three years of travel. With rapper Kuba ‘El Cabu’ Malinowski, he co-founded Sun Followers. Their debut album Droga brings together Polish rap, Moroccan music, funk and reggae.
